I ran across a Remington Rand today in one of my gunshops that I haunt. I was saddened to see it ewas modified from its original version. It had a FLGR, ambi-safety, and night sights installed. However, it was in great shape with what appears to be the orginal finish. It does plainly say "Remington Rand" on the slide. But I wished it was an original. But the 4650 price tag seemed decent enough. Or was that too high for an altered model?
