The slide on my NIB XO was and is, a little loose. When I do the test on it by cocking it, etc. and wiggling it, it makes a little rattle. Is this bad, and did anyone else's slide have some "slop" in it?

I got a Stainless XO from Bud's in April and it's still nice and tight after about 600 rounds.

I would ask how does it shoot? A little wiggle in a 1911 is O.K.

ARK they should be tight new they only get looser as time goes by and many shots have gone thru the pistol.

Akr, so as long as your GSR is accurate and functions without hiccups, I wouldn't worry about it. The crucial factor is the barrel-to-slide fit and lockup, in my opinion.

You can always call Sig CS, if you believe something is wrong. I myself have some duplicates of items, some with loose slides, some tight. I like the tight slides, but the target doesn't seem to care.

My GSR with only about 200 rounds through it is very tight.
