Has anyone ever heard of or had any dealings with Provost's Precision Pistols? I had a very good friend from the area recommend him to me for a custom made 1911. Just wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with his work?

Christopher J. Provost(P3), is both innovator and rogue. He has idealized and forwarded much of the current thinking responsible for bringing the 1911 into the 21st century. He was one of the first to advocate extending the 7rds mag tube, in order to appropriately accommodate 8rds. He has put a lot of thought into followers and has some very compelling ideas about them. He is currently aligned with Cerberus Tactical; a very forward-looking consortium, yet to take shape.

From what I know, Provost is all about duty/combat performance. He's hard to get hold of, but if you can track him down, I highly recommed a conversation. 860-651-0071
