Last week I received both of the Colts I won at two separate auctions. A NIB Colt Commanding Officer and a NIB Colt Pony Pocketlite. Both were received in their original boxes with all of their paperwork, and untouched books. They do not appear to have ever been racked.

Holy Cow! (as Robin might have said) Where do these beauties hide? (Not in California, they are as rare as hen's teeth, here.) Congratulations, Rich!

Nice pair of ponies my friend. You should be proud of those. Have you decided if you will shoot them or just put them up?

I thought about making them safe Queens, however I do have a propensity to be involved in self defense incidents. The fact is, I operate two liquor establishments in a part of town that borderlines a high crime area. So I am utilizing the pair for CCW purposes. I like the idea of NIB guns for CCW, after I run several hundred rounds through each w/o incident, I will be carrying the dynamic duo.

The .45 Colt Commanding Officer is a 3.5" Officers slide on a Commander frame. The Pony Pocketlite is a .380 with a 6 round mag.

Per your request I will be adding more pic's when I have a chance to do so.
Thanks for the compliments! :)

Nice find!

I hope you never need them for self defense, but if you do, I would think they would serve you admirably.

Good for you! My heart is warmed that you are going to actually USE these fine pistols. It would be such a waste to leave them sitting in a safe. 44 Man

Beautiful.....Congrats on using them... I think a lot of us on the site might not have had the courage to fire NIB collectables. BTW: Is there any transition problems switching back and forth between S/A and D/A?

Mark, At my age, I may as well enjoy the immediate benefits of the guns. In so far as transition. I carried DA revolvers for 25 years and DA first shot Sig 229's for 15 years, I do not find the transition be difficult.
