Hello,
Nice forum, and this is my first post. I just aquired a like new in the box 38 special colt national match mkIII. It came in the original box, with screwdriver and instructions. I called Colt today and they said it was made in 1971. I put a 16lb recoil spring in it with a shock buff and it really throws the brass out of the gun. (the original spring was really light) I was thinking about going heavier. I am using 2.9 grains of aa #2 with a 148 dewc. It works good in my wheelguns. But I stopped after only a few rounds because of how far it was throwing the brass. maybe I need to reduce the load? what do others shoot?
Thanks,
Bob
