some really nice cobo grips would set it off. I like hogue on all of my poly guns and ARs but I dont care for the looks on 1911, but I bet it feels good

Looks great. DW has something with serial numbers. I would contact them and see what the story is with the "YG" serial number. If I remember correctly, Pointman's normally started with DW or PM.Who knows, you may have something special.

Outstanding!!!!

Pros:
Excellent use of the video camera.
Novel concept for a range report.
When you shoot slow and deliberate, you do very well.

Cons:
Please don't drop the slide on an empty chamber, that can damage the sear and hammer engagement surfaces.
Hard to fudge on a video range report.
After seeing this, I will have a real inferiority complex by giving nothing more than a written report.

Keep up the good shooting, looking forward to seeing more video reports. A picture is worth a thousand words, video is priceless!

yes I know slow down and no drop the slide on an empty chamber
but I was in test mode :)

I need to hit the target better
if you watch somewhere around 7:20 to 7:55 into the video i did have a great 3 shot group

that pistol will outshoot me anyday
it was the first 100 rnds
and I figured if any failures would occur it would be within those first rounds
I am happy to own that pistol and the quality on it is amazing

Thanks for the kind words
the hardest part was after each time the camera was turned off then back on it wrote a different file

so i had to go into the software and combine all 13 clips together
then process them
wow it took longer to do that then it did to film it :)

Thank you much for the excellent range report.. I have the Razerback 10mm and it has a nasty habit of hitting where its aimed, allbeit I don't always aim it where I want the bullet to go. Again thanks for the taking the time and effort to produce a report such as this.

I think it's a Patriot, not a Pointman. For what it's worth, most of the Patriot Experts I have seen have that 'YGxxxxxx' serial number scheme.

Thanks for the vrr (video range report) Davew. An excellent idea. Would really like to see more of these from our other forum commrades. I will try to work on that myself. And by the way. For being away from it for a couple of years, you've seemed to caught on very quickly again. Nice job.
