Have you shot it yet? If so how do you compare it to the Rock Tactical?

What about fit and finish compared to it?

I've been mulling over getting one since it came out.

I did try it yesterday and it is really a nice gun, very tight fittings all around(barrel to slide abd frame there is no play at all, I just did a quick 50rds, load and shoot kinda way and after my initial excitement i setteled down , its pretty much hit on point of aim.finish wise is pretty close to my tactical, accuracy , well like what i say all the time , if the guy behind the trigger is better than i am then for sure he will get good groupings, its shoots like a shoot all my 1911, i would say close to my dan wesson on accuracy.If you can find one just get it, its a heck of a gun..Have you shot it yet? If so how do you compare it to the Rock Tactical?

Very nice, its very accurate and worth every penny. The only problem i encountered is that the slide prematurely locked a few times. So i traded the novak mags for CMC and it worked flawlessly.

BTW how come i did not get an STI hard case, instead it was just a standard ARmscor hard case.

It prides me that I share similar choices with you guys!
The Spartan is the best bang for the buck!
I happen to get the one of the first twenty sold here in the Philippines and it came with the STI hard case, STI brochure. My license card also bore the name STI in the blank for the "make". And it's backed with STI International Warranty through Armscor.
I'm very happy with it and I'm sure you will be too!
I'd like to get a copy of that G&A article on the Spartan.
