Zen works again.

About a month ago I was looking at a LW 9mm Commander that was a little too worn for the big bux on the tag. So I decided to take the Zen approach and it worked. Last week I acquired this LW-prefixed 9mm Commander and it's factory mag. A very comfortable shooter, and well regulated. No problem hitting minute of pop can at 25 yds.

That is a very nice LW Commander. You're going to have John by here again with a serious case of envy! It looks to be in good shape

Very nice - I've been sorta looking for one of those myself. So far too much zen and not enough luck! That's a real find.

Tombstone, there are a couple of beauty's on gunbroker right now...a pre-series 80 and an an early series-80...both in great condition and reasonably priced. I'd be after one myself, but for having just bought my Combat Commander ;). Soon enough i'll be back at it on the hunt for a 9mm...:D
EDIT:
Gettin' up there in cost, but both very nice.

Elijdub - thanks for the links. I'm looking real hard at either of those. I especially like the Series 70. At it's current auction price it's a steal, but with a week to go it'll jump up a bit. My guess would be $750 - 800 for that one? Now, please edit your post so no one else can see where those Commanders are..... :D

I've was hoping i could buy one myself! I actually bid on the Series-80 (because it's in such good condition + the box and papers)...i was holding at $605 for about 48 hours...too good to be true :(. I'd totally jump on either one at their current price, but like you said, i'd imagine they'll go up a bit.
I'm a little "tapped" after buying my Combat Commander...If i can't have one, i hope you get one ;)!
