Hello to all. Am new to this forum and also new to the Colt world. Just bought a used Colt Gov't Model MK IV, Series 70. Finish is blue and in excellent condition. Shoot's like a dream (compared to my P-90). The gun was built in '73 and worked over by Clark. The slight is engraved with "Clark Heavy Slide .45, Shreveport, LA". Has a full length Bo-Mar sight and Hogue grips. Beyond that I know little about the gun. Can anyone tell me where can I get an owners manual? Is a wrench required to remove the barrel bushing?
Thanks
SCD

Owners manual from Colt, I guess, but why do you need it? Everything you need to know about this pistol (and much more) is in the M1911.ORG Home Page. A bushing wrench may be required if the bushing is fit tight to the slide. There are several you can choose from, the one I like is a upside-down one, I have a test in the "Product Tests" forum for you guys. Check it out.

If your gun was modified by Clark's, you might also want to check out their web site. This will also give you their contact information.
