Please excuse what must be a newbie question or any silly assumptions I happen to make.
What is the proper way to check the fit of the barrel, barrel bushing and barrel bushing / barrel to slide fit? If I understand correctly, with the slide untouched (in battery?), wiggling the muzzle of the barrel with your index finger you should feel little to no movement of the barrel, correct? The bushing on my Colt can be turned without the use of a bushing wrench, but I feel no movement using the method I described above.
For the barrel lock fit, would you leave the slide where it is, then press down on the barrel through the ejection port to see if there is any movement?
