I just got a 1:1 replica M16 off Ebay and I cannot find any info about it. It's a spring loaded 6mm replica of the original Triangle stocked M16. It says WELL on the side. I know it's not an Airsoft product but that's not important. I bought the rifle off Ebay because I am planning on dressing up like GI Joe for Halloween when I take my son out this year( The real one, not the gay 80's version). The only problem is that it actually looks real enough, I don't feel comfortable carrying it around the neighborhood. It has a little dab of Orange paint on the muzzle but that's about it. Laying it next to my old (1970's) SP1, they are almost exact to the casual eye.
Does anyone know anything about these knockoffs? They were cheap, I think I payed $9.00 for it. I also bought a 1911 and an M14 from the same guy for cheap and now don't think I'll be carrying any of them on me when I walk the neighborhood with my son this year.
