I have two 1911s one is a kimber supermatch 1700.00 gun and it is very unreliable What kind of luck do you have with your 1911 I have a glock that fires every time

Have called Kimber to request service? Kimbers are usually reliable and I'm sure yours could be made to run reliably.
What kind of jam problem was it giving?

Reload from slide lock Slide stays open with rounds in mag failure to feed rounds I shoot idpa and it does something every 100 rounds

Hi Brolson: Your descriptions in Post #3 are not descriptive enough to allow me (and perhaps others) to diagnose and offer solutions - other than "Send it back to Kimber".
