While doing routine disassembly and cleaning of my Baer SRP, I was wiping grime from around the trigger and accidently dropped the hammer (while the slide was removed from the frame - I know the safety was supposed to be engaged! Anyway the weak side safety fell off. I pulled the hammer back and re-inserted the weak side safety and all looks and feels well. I have put some oil behind it and with the grip on it seems to be secure. Other than the suggested safety checks after assembly in checking out the safety is there anything else that I should be aware of? Lesson learned - keep the safety engaged while the slide is off and hammer back.... :nono:
