I posted a picture of the pistol here several months ago. I believe the Buy It Now was $8500 and bids reached over $4000 but didn't meet the reserve as it has been relisted many times.

When the reserve or BUY NOW gets down to about $3500-4000, then it will be priced right to sell IMO. I'd say the anomaly factor of that pricing would be as much as $1000...a pretty generous bonus for a manufacturing mistake. The condition of the pistol is still where most of the price comes from. I personally would still rather have a minty pistol with no anomalies for $2500-3500.
