That is a really cool pistol. I would love to know how the 10mm preformes in a longslide.
Do you plan to shoot it? If so how about over a chronograph.

Comming from you that is a real compliment :D :)
YES I PLAN TO SHOOT IT! I hope to take it deer hunting this Thanksgiving. I have used a ruger redhawk 9.5 inch barrel - with a Nikon scope - but want to try someting different.
Not sure what else to use it for - other them bowling pins! :D

I look forward to a range report. I have been thinking on a Super .38 in a longslide. Yours looks like it has been put together very well.

J - thanks for the kudo's

I think that Bob Serva has one of the best deals going for a custom built pistol - given his past successes as President for Dan Wesson. The pistol has forged steel - hand fitted frame and slide - match barrel and bushing - no MIM except for the ambi safety. All cast and or milled small parts. Custom finish. for approx $1500.00 - $1600.00(depending on the configuration). A SA TRP cost that much and is a production pistol.
I am seriously thinking of a widebody 40 cal longslide from Bob.

Looks like a nice 10MM longslide pistol!
Hunter, Colt doesn't make a longslide, who would make you a Super 38 longslide?

Joni Lynn - THANK YOU VERY MUCH - you are not one to compliment a pistol unless you REALLY like it!!! ;)
It is a Fusion Fireams part - I am not sure where Bob Serva gets them???
OOOPPPSS - are you refering to the FUSION longslide or my HOME MADE for PICTURES ONLY - RIA LONGSLIDE ON WIDE BODY FRAME????

If I could do it, I'd hunt with a 1911 on my side in 45 and load it with a decent 230 JHP. Unfortunately autoloading handguns & rifles are a no-no here for ALL hunting:(.
Autoloading shotguns are okay in small game season.

Looks an awful lot like an STI safety to me.

From what I have read on Fusions sight and from the look of the Slide I believe it is an STI slide on that beauty. I hope it shoots better than it looks. or as in most cases it shoots better than we could ever hope to achieve.

Bob Serva has been out of town for family reasons - The pistol just needs to test fired and tuned - and shipped. It should be at FFL dealer this week.

I just got an email from Bob Serva - My FUSION - LONGSIDE 10MM will ship today!!! :D :D
Here are some pictures Bob sent of the test fire - no targets though :(
edit: I just got another email from Bob!
The best shots off hand were 3 in under an inch. She will be a good shooter.
Thanks,
Bob
