I have a Leupold/Gilmore red-dot scope mounted on my .45acp. During a match Saturday I lost the dot between rounds. When I looked the dot had moved far to one side, then disappeared completely. I replaced the battery but that didn't help. The diode is still working.
What is the warranty on these scopes? I tried emailing Gilmore Sports but the email bounced back as undeliverable.
Does anyone have contact info?
I have never had a problem with this scope before. Is it capable of taking the beating from long use on a 1911? I use my SA .45acp for bullseye and falling plate matches.
I have an extra scope laying around somewhere. It's a Tasco Pro-Point, one of the older versions so I should be OK in Monday's BE match. I shot a 777 with the .45 a couple of weeks ago and finally broke 800 with an 823 last Monday with my Ruger MkII .22. I need one more good score to get a personal best aggregate.

Thanks,
Jim
