Recently purchased a Colt Combat Commander. Love the gun but hate the grips. They are the Hogue wrap around with finger groove. I would like to replace these with the Colt Factory rubber wraparound grips with silver medallion. Any suggestions on where to obtain these or anyone interested in a trade. Also considering replacing my rear sight but dont want to cut the slide are there any manufacturers making a drop in rear adjustable sight.

There are no drop-in adjustable sights. The best route you can take (as far as I am concerned) is to install the special Novak low-mount, which uses the standard dovetail. I think I've seen it in a Chip McCormick ad.

You really want wrap around grips?
I've gone to thin, checkered AlumaGrips exclusively on my M1911 pistols. Once I tried thin grips I was hooked. Once I tried thin AlumaGrips I was hooked solid!
John Nowlin installed these tritium sights on my Officer ACP (round top slide) fairly inexpensively. They'll fit your Commander and come in several dot patterns. Took all of a week to get them done.

No, originally an Air Force brat from all over the place. Settled here when I got married because my wife already owned a house here. Home for me will always be Arkansas, though.
