Hey, just found some cheap grips for a daily carry...

i found the checkering a bit aggressive on the three sets I have...

the rubies and diamonds really dug into my hand, but, it's a good "toss in the bed of ur truck" kinda deal...


i suggest them for any newcomer to the sport.

Why can't the "ganstas" be happy with their 15+ round, plastic framed, 9mm "spray and pray" pistols and leave our beloved M1911s alone?

I might buy it, but I would have to sand the grips down to smooth out the rough spots and then duracoat the whole 1911 black. Sounds like too much work, I'd just toss the grips and order new ones. :lh:

Some things in life just leave you speechless. I thought the first post was a joke until I followed the link. Or is the auction a joke? I would love to know the history behind those things.

sadly, it's not a joke....somebody (as previously stated) had more money than taste.

those grips have been up for sale on Gunbroker for about a year, and unless I'm mistaken, he was originally asking $52,000 for 'em.



(my wife rolls her eyes when I get a new set of VZ grips....I'd hate to see her reaction to those abominations!)
