is the blue stainless slide really easy to get scratches? i only had my tactical 4.15 for a few days and only brought it once to the range and cleaned it after but when i was looking at it today i saw some hairline scratches on the finish of the slide. i've always kept the gun in its holster and i am sure i never dropped it. i only used a soft bristled toothbrush to clean the slide after going to the range. is there a way to remove those scratches?

Bummer on getting a scartch on a blued pistol!!!!
If the blued finish is scratched - there is no way that I know of to remove the scratched. If metal is showing - the best is to use a tooth pic and apply some cold blue to touch up the appearance of the scratch to hide it. But the scratch will still be there. ;)

I know how you feel. I have a new Taurus that I really like, but has a poor finish, and I have already scratched it. I would do what Longslide said, but you may have to go over it several times after it dries. If that doesn't do it, then we have to resort to calling it "character". :lm:
