This is my first post.

I have a Mark IV/Series '70 and as the eyes are not what they used to be I need some help, would appreciate suggestion's and input on Adjustable Rear Sights that are available that don't cost an arm and a leg. I Don't want to have special milling done just a better sight than the original that will fit into the stock dovetail slot.

I am just an average target shooter looking to be able to agin hit somewhere in the bullseye at 25 yards.

Thanking everyone in advance for your suggestions and expertise regarding the above.

slowpoke, to the best of my knowledge there is only one rear sight that will work with your front. I can't remember who makes it now. You will have to get on Brownells and search and search and search... I know they sell it, but I couldn't find it. Pachmayr made the sight before it was bought out.

Since you mention "tired eyes, like mine", I might need to mention that the front sight will not be changed. If this (front sight) is your problem, keep looking.

Welcome slowpoke.
Try this;
Put a pin hole in a piece of paper.
Look through the hole at your sights.
If every is clear and sharp, let me know and we can take this further.
Good luck..
