These things are a virus. I broke down and bought my first used Colt and found half a dozen of them in the locker in less than a year.
Just make sure that plunger tube is on good and tight.

LOBO,
Congratulations on a great looking XSE Government Model, and thank you for the photograph.
As others have said, I doubt it will be your last Colt. ;)

On the way home from picking the gun up yesterday, I was already thinking about how nice it would be to have a Commander. I can see where this is headed!!!!!! :D

Chris
For your "first" Colt, you sure knew how to "pull all the stops out"!!! :D
Mind you, now, there's plenty of "enablers" here on this forum to "help" you with your Coltitis... :nono:
So... what's it gonna be... a stainless or blued Commander??? ;)

Hersh, I don't want to answer for Chris, but I what I'm seeing about reciprocity indicates a MS permit is good in AR, but MS doesn't honor the AR permit.
Information from this site updated Aug. 02, 2007 (http://handgunlaw.us/).
Odd, but it appears that AR has just recently moved to honor the MS permit.
If MS doesn't now honor the AR permit, it shouldn't take long.

BTW, the new Colt XSE has been broken in w/o so much as a burp!!
FMJ, LRN, Winchester HP, Hornady HP, and even mixed magazines were handled with aplomb by the Colt.
I'm going to keep a log book with this Colt, just as I do with my rifles. It should be interesting to see whats in the book a year from now.

I know what you mean. Whenever I'm a bit down, my wife tells me to go fondle my guns. Picks me right up.
Congrats on a fine looking shooter.
