I just finished a website for Matt Gish of Professional Gunsmithing Inc. and I'd like some feedback on the content and layout. After reading posts on this site for over a year, I think I've found a fair bunch of critics and folks who could provide a valuable critique. Check it out:

It doesn't jump out at me. The background and overall color scheme is too subdued on the home page. I would prefer to see a large example of his work on the home page. The thumbnail photos in the 1911 section don't expand. The backgrounds in the photo album are a little too funky. The site just doesn't capture my attention.

I found the site easy to navigate and not overly "foofy". I don't really care for scrolling, especially on homepages, but it's become more or less the rule.
More than anything, I am just happy that Matt is back on the radar!!! Hopefully he will join us here.

More, and higher-resolution pictures. I'd prefer a neutral background on the pics, too.
