Need a little help on what trench throat(sounds painful!) and dimpled throat means;or where can I go to find out.
Maybe this is a feature I'm not aware of or not familiar with the nomenclature(?) :o
Back when I was a kid(yes, before indoor plumbing :) my Mom told us kids that my cousin had "trench mouth";and it was pretty nasty, IIRC.
TIA,
mike

Trench mouth is a painful bacterial infection and ulceration of the gums (gingiva). :scared: :scared: :scared:

Does anyone else make this barrel design? Has any one tested it to see if there is a performance different with this design?

Not that I'm aware of?
I have Colt's with all three barrel ramp styles, honestly, I don't see a difference in them.

Like OD*, I have owned all three types, at one time or another. Insofar as I've never experienced misfeeds with any of my Colts (past and present), it would be hard to say.
As far as a test is concerned, I am also unaware of any published data on the subject.
