The barrel on my 1991 Colt Commander had barrel lugs that were more round than flat. It shot pretty good, but I thought that a new barrel may help accuracy. Moneys pretty tight at my house.
Then I saw this barrel at gun parts. It came in today and I have to say I am impressed. The machine work is better than the Storm lake I bought last year for a Essex project.
The barrel dropped in with no fitting at all. I mirror polished the throat, Broke the sharp edge on the front of the locking lugs and then staked the link pin.
a quick patch of Breakfree to protect the bore and it was good to go.
This is a really nice barrel for the money. I can't wait to shoot it this weekend. http://www.e-gunparts.com/DisplayAd.asp?chrProductSKU=983140&chrSuperSKU=&MC=YJ
