What is Colt doing? Where is the listing on the website? I tried looking under the defender but no luck. Just see them on the auction sites.
I cant find one in Houston but I am sure I am not looking hard enough.

I wasn't able to find 'em on the site either..? It is kinda' odd, they come out with a new gun and it's not listed. They're definitely available on gunsamerica and gunbroker.

Colt has not updated their web pages in a while. It would be a good idea to upgrade it at least once a year to dispel rumors of their impending demise that run rampant as ponies all through the internet. :D It's also a good thing to get information right from the horses mouth, so to speak! (puns always intended)

Yeah, Colt's website is hopelessly out of date.
Case in point: Their last "news" item dates back to June... 2004!

Now that says something about a company; when they have an outdated website, and don't even list the guns available for sale.....and they still sell thousands of guns each year, some of 'em the highest demand in the market (WWI, etc.)!! ;)

They just removed the Python Elite a couple of months ago. I think Mark Roberts saw us grumbling and made them update the pictures. The only reason I was upset about it being outdated was because I called Colt to buy a new Python last year and they told me the Custom Shop didn't make them anymore. I wish they did, I bought several used ones because of that. If they had still been making them, I probably would have stopped at 2 or 3.

Oh, so they held you down and twisted your arm until you said, "okay okay, uncle. I'll buy the used Pythons since the value will probably increase and I'll be forced to make a profit should I ever decide to sell them" Is that that the way it went down, Dave?? :p ;)
