Buying a used 1911 MkIV series 70

I'm looking for some tips when checking out this series 70 Government Colt. Serial starts 70 G , so I know it's an early 1970's model. Pricing is mid $400's and I see work done on trigger and hammer as well as adj. sights. I'm pretty sure I can't resist it, but would love to hear what to really look at on it. Phosco

pics would really help. If the frame, slide & barrel are in good shape........and there's no irreversible damage to anything, then I would say it's worth 400 easy.
