opinions owners of Kobra gov. model.....

We are ready to order a gov. model Kobra in Stainless for my husband(using his log on), but would like to hear some of the current owners experiences. Did a search of the EB forum but not much info. He has 3 Baers, 1 NH, and thought he might like some more variety in his arsenal.
Any help is appreciated.

I just got a new Ed Brown Kobra, the full size 1911. I love mine! The look and feel is just so much better than any of the other brands I handled.

I had a two-tone full size Kobra for a few months and it was a fine pistol. Never had any problems. It would feed and fire anything that I put in the magazine.

I traded it away simply because there was something that I wanted more at the time ... you know how that goes :)

I'm sure you'll be pleased - it's a very fine pistol.

Thank you for your input...yes I understand...we started from humble beginnings, and lately he has been selling some of our stuff and purchasing better quality. So I am keeping the trend going....thank you

I have a Kobra Carry that has given excellent service. I've used in one two day class during which it saw some hard use. And I had it out to the range just the other day. It has been reliable and accurate.

Thank you for the input, that is a beauty you have, I am looking at a full size like yours in stainless, If they perform as good as your gun looks , it is a winner, Especially with Brown's reputation....
