Does anyone know who makes the slotted grip screws that also uses an allen wrench? I saw it once and would like to get a set. Thanks in advance.

Romeo, a couple of vendors make them. Forum Sponsor VZ grips (link above) carries them.

I have also seen them on Novak's website.

Rob, VZ Grips has them listed as SLEX screws.

I got them from both vendors, VZ grips and Novak's. I recommend getting it from VZ grips. Novak's call theirs 'practical grip' screws and I don't recommend Novak's. It's way too brittle. I installed one screw in one of my 1911s, did not tighten it, I backed it out and it broke.

Get the screws from VZ grips.

Just thought I'd let you guys know that I found the VZ Screws at Gunner's Alley in NC, I was ordering a new holster and found they now carry VZ, the screws are not listed on the website but a phone call soon found out that they stocked them. I'll install them and post pics later tonight. Thanks again for the information!

I bet there will be more outlets in the future. I go with slotted on my carry guns and hex on my target guns. Haven't bought any yet, but probably will. Is this the time to smack ourselves in the head and say, "Gosh, why didn't I think of that?"
