Can someone please turn me on to a source for wood grips with palm swells? I need magwell cut/no MSH pin cutout. Ambi safety doesn't matter.

I previously got a set from Hogue, for another gun, but they wont fill my new order until later on in the year.

I like the shape of the Karl Nill grips, but I dont like walnut. I also don't like that they are $180 in anything other than walnut.

I called Esmeralda (what a sweetheart), but she doesn't do palm swells and is so buried that she doesn't want to take on a new project.

Anyway, please help if you can.

Ping

You might want to contact Bill Snow (Tipi-Knife Works) He does palm swell grips and grip reductions on single action revolvers. He is one of the best kept secrets for the best feeling single action grips, period! He is also no stranger to the 1911 and may be happy to help you out as palm swell grips are part of his bread and butter and he has a lot of wood to choose from. ;) Just google "Bill snow" or "Tipi-Knife Works".

Good luck in your search!
