are the STI tactical 5.0s in .40 just as accurate as the .45?

I have a two STI's, one Eagle in a 40 and one Tactical 5 inch in a 40. Both of these guns are reliable and extremely accurate. I will add I have had Wilsons, Kimbers, Springfields and they are more accurate than all of them. As a matter of fact the Eagle is the most accurate 1911 I own. I shoot 155 grain hollowpoints thru them. The Tactical is extremely fun to shoot witht the extra weight up front and the Bull barrel. I'm going to purchase a 9mm next for fun and plates.

My Tactical 5.0 in .40 is the most accurate pistol I own. My .40 cal Trojan is right there with it. It just must be STI guns.
