Ok, we've all seen the rubber Hogue grips for the 1911, but does anyone know where I could find them in wood? Hopefully in a dark color, maybe an almost black wood. If anyone knows where I could find them, it would be much appreciated, thanks

Not wood that wrap around the front strap but Hogue does make a variety for 1911s...with or w/o ambi cut and squared bottom for a magwell.
Grade A and cosmetic seconds (very good!) are auctioned here.

Hogue does make wood grips that wrap around the front strap, but I can't imagine anyone with appropriately-long fingers.
The auctions on blems appear to be killer deals.
