I have a stainless MSH enroute for my Stainless Ultra Carry II. So, we will see how that feels first, but I am tempted.

TucsonMTB . . . eliminating plastic where possible

Alloy MSHs were standard on Commanders for over thirty years. My Commander dates from ~1984, and it has an alloy housing. They're plastic, now. S&A offers most or all of their MSHs and magwell funnels in aluminum.
