Howdy folks...I just got a sweet deal on a basic carry for my second RRA, and I would like to replace the front sight with a serrated tritium front....
As a bit of background...I have on of the original ADCO RRA that had an all black serrated front sight on it, with a Heinie rear...when I decided to replace the sight I first sent it to Heinie, who said they couldnt do it because of the cut...(they then kept my slide an extra 5 days before sending it back to me...grrr....)
I ended up getting a front sight from RRA and sending it back to them...and they replaced it for FREE...which was fantastic...but took almost 6 weeks....
I want pretty much the exact same thing done to this gun, but would prefer not to wait as long (and am willing to pay to get it done before then)....
So....here comes the question...has anyone had the radiused front sight replaced by the likes of Novak's or anyone else?
Has it turned out well? What does the end product look like? Honestly if I could find someone to just drill a tritium vial into the existing sight I would be happy too.....
At any rate....help!
