I just ordered an Ed Brown Snakeskin mainspring housing to replace the plastic in my Kimber Stainless Target II. Did they ever make that in an officers size? If so, can anyone help me find one in stainless (or aluminum) for a Kimber Ultra Carry II?
Many thanks in advance and please tell me this is the right place to post this inquiry. :o

Yeap. Parts forum is the right place to ask questions about parts.
I can't answer your question, but for some reason, I think the SnakeSkin MSH would be much more efficient if the scallops were cut the other way around (upside down). Oh well, what do I know.

You know quite a lot, actually. But, when it comes to appearances, logic doesn't always count. The government sized "bobtail" version of this MSH is gorgeous, efficient or not.
Now, if I can just find a flat officers size in stainless . . .

Oh my remark has nothing to do with appearance, it has to do with function. I found that the way the scallops are cut, they do not stop the pistol from sliding down in your hand. If they were cut the otherway around, they would work much better.
