TRP and Laser Grips??

Do they make Laser Grips for the TRP? My dealer says no (he commented on "recessed grips"), but my guess is ... Anyone have any? :D

My local dealer said they can install Crimson Trace laser grips on a Springfield 1911 without a problem. The only thing to note is that if you have an ambi-thumb safety, they have to shorten the side with the laser on it, so that the safety doesn't interfere with the laser housing.

There are two ways to Crimsons on a TRP (I would know, I have one w crimsons)

1. Replace the ambi with a non ambi and put the grips on.

2. file the right side ampi lever so it does not impact the laser housing.
