Hey guys...there's been several posts lately (one of them mine) about ways to reduce felt recoil. If anyone is thinking about a sprinco system, I was doing some searching online the other day and found a site that has them for a little over a third of their normal price...around $35 dollars. I believe they are close to $90 on the sprinco website. I talked to the guy yesterday...nice guy...who said he only had a couple left. They are brand new but old stock he is trying to unload. I figured for $35 why not give them a shot? It's about the price of 100 rounds of factory .45 hardball where I live (as you might imagine there is quite a demand for ammo in New Orleans lately). Anyway, thought a couple of y'all might appreciate the tip. Here's the guy's number if any of you are interested: 724-539-2774. Place is called Novak's Handgunner Outlet. Happy shooting

I have used the one for the DELTA, 10mm, very happy with it, incombo with a 22 lb recoil spring. FYI try to get a few extra spring plugs, they like to fly when removing or during assembly. They seem to hold up too.

Careful folks, some of the older models of Sprinco guide rods had issues. The way the rod was made, allowed it to bind with the recoil spring plug some times. I do not remember the characteristics of those models, but I had one and it was good for nothing. Sprinco had send me a newer one back then, which didn't have that problem, but you'd better check it well before you trust this thing in your pistol. At the slightest sign of binding, throw it away.
