Help with Sistema

I recently purchased a well worm Sistema from Gander Mt. I can cock the hammer, push the barrel and receiver rearward (as with the palm of my hand at the muzzle end ) and the hammer will fall when the trigger is pulled. I have 2 other 1911 Colts and 2 other Sistemas and they will not fire when I push rearward on the barrel. What do you suppose is worm or broken? thanks

Disconnector?

Your description leaves a little to be desired, I'm afraid. How far back are you pushing the barrel and slide?

Until they stop. As if you held the pistol normally and pushed the muzzle into a wall until it could not travel rearward due to the frame.

10-4. So you're taking it out of battery. At that point, the underside of the slide should be pushing the disconnector down far enough to prevent the trigger from activating the sear. Do a quick field strip and inspect the head of the disconnector.

Yeap, the disconnector is the culprit.
