I just had to let everyone know that after months of saving my money and a little tax refund, I brought home a brand new TLE/RL II. I've field stipped it as per the instructions and will be going to the range this weekend. I will let you know how it goes.

Well I went to the range today and fed 150 rounds of Winchester 230 gr. to my new TLE/RL and she didn't even burp. No FTEs or FTFs. The accuracy is really nice. I'm not sure how to measure a group but in several instances the green splatter of the shoot'n'see targets ran together on a three shot group at 20 yards. I am not a competitive shooter by no means. So this was quite thrilling for me. My buddy who was shooting a Colt Commander shot it and has decided that he is definitely going to get a Kimber. The Colt shoots very well also, but we both agree the Kimber was superior.
