Rem Rand Mag Question

I own a Remington Rand 1911 and wondered if a magazine designed for an AMT Hardballer will work in it. Are all 1911 mags the same? Would it hurt anything to just pop it in and fire a few rounds to see how it feeds?

All 1911 and 1911A1 magazines that are made to Mil. Specs. should work in your RR. If it fits correctly and feeds properly, give it whirl. Some aftermarket and no USGI mags vary in quality and spring tension, factors which can cause issues.
