Everything's going as planned... 42oz. trigger, slide feels like a baby's rear.

Then you install the ejector and BAM!!! Ejector is binding on slide! You try several ejectors (from different sources) and it still binds. Four hour worth of filing, stoning, and lapping... "phew" all better.

What type of 1911 is it going on?

Sounds like someone trying to put a standard style ejector on a Commander........they are different.

It happens to be a Clark Custom Heavy Long Slide.
