I got the second one back from Colt today and here's my pic and a brief report.
The people at Colt sure know how to fix a feeding problem.
I fed the gun 50 American Eagle, 50 Federal 185 JHP and 50 handloads using the Hornady 200CT jacketed bullet. I functioned perfectly for every round.
These two are consecutive numbers. (Yes, I've fired both of them and they both function perfectly)

Joni,

You just have to rub it in dont ya :) Very nice Colts and great photo. How do you take such great photos? Because I stink at it and I actually try  .
Anyway back to your great Gunsites and others lurking in the back. You have a great collection of pistols ;) I am glad they are shooting the way a Colt should. Best of luck with them. You are kinda making me look a little silly for not shooting my SCG's with consecutive numbers :butthead: .

Thanks. Actually for the pics I don't usually take the time to make it a good pic, I just set it up and shoot a few, then crop, resize, upload and post.
I figure since the factory test fired them anyway and they were made to be used, that's what I do........I don't abuse any of them and keep them in reasonably good condition. I do have maybe a few that will never be fired, they don't even come out into the light very often.

Lynnie, since you've got two, and I don't have a colt yet, I think you oughta send one to me. No sense in you having a dilemma of which one to shoot.

She shoots them Dillinger style. :D

Well, the reason I have two is that I took a very good friend out to the range for the guns first shooting and he liked it..............he liked it a lot..............so...............
well.............ummm..............I sort of gave it to him. I'm keeping it however until it's been legally tranferred to him. He lives in the same state of Confusion as I do so it's just a matter of time until it packs up and moves out.
Then I'll have one. Which is all I really need anyway.
I think the next one may be a Nighthawk if I can stop buying older Colt's for awhile.

+1 here!
Very nice consequetive Gunsite's!...that's quite the impressive collection!
I'm curious to know...what'd you have in mind for the NHC?
I'm also curious which one's you're NOT shooting...the one's that don't see the light?

Has anyone told you you are a selfish girl?

John I've been called much worse.
The Colt Gold Cup MR's don't come out very often and the RRA stays home most of the time, the rest get out monthly.
I was thinking of a Talon, hard chrome. The rest of it isn't decided yet.

Beautiful pistols, and an excellent picture. Love those Colt Gunsites. I wish I had jumped on a Colt Gunsite CCO when I had the chance...

Nice.
I wish I'd grabbed a Colt Gunsite before they vanished...not that they were plentiful before. I had to settle for a S&W, which is OK, but..

If one of you is interested in a Gunsite CCO, I know a dealer in Ohio that has one and seems to be reasonably priced. If you're interested PM me and I'll give out his number. (nothing monetary in it for me, just passing on info)
