Colt 80 series Gov /part change out

Being I just bought 1st 1911 and it being a colt 80 gov. new in the box,what parts may need to be changed out.What are the stress areas that may have to addressed? Springs,extractor,slide stop what are the weak points if any?

Just shoot it. Nothing needs to be changed.

The weak point is usually the shooter; buy some ammo and practice.

Colts have the best parts coming out of the factory........save your money for the ammo!
