pre- Series 70 Government model

May have to sell some of my guns due to unforseen curves life seems to throw at me sometimes.....one that may go on the block is my 1961 vintage Colt Government, it's in great condition, about 98% or better, a pre-series 70 gun, 5" blue.....but I need some idea of what a fair asking price would be....been looking on several sites trying to come up with an idea, but so far nothing, so thought I'd ask here. It's stock, nothing fooled with. Any ideas would be helpful. :(

I am also in Texas and I would like the first shot at buying it, however I don't think it would be fair for me to be the one to tell you what to sell it for. I would love the chance to buy the pistol though if you would please keep that in mind.

Came across a very nice mid 60's in the box this morning.The seller was asking $850 for it.
