De Box De Box

I was moving "stuff" from one place to another and found the box my 1977 Gold Cup came in.

On a larger note this is what the "box" is, and if you buy one RIB (Rusted in Box), at least you should know what it looks like.

I like the picture as the gun is shadowed on the right, like the gun is not as important as the box it came in.

O.K. Anybody who reads the posts on this site knows my bias. I shoot everything.

Nice. They aren't my favorite boxes, most of mine sorta fell apart. The gun however is probably a real keeper I bet!

Nice picture of the box you've got there! I sure wish I had the original boxes for some of my pistols, but, then again, I paid less for some of 'em because they didn't have the box! Interesting concept, your starting a "box" thread...only I think you should open it up to all Colt boxes, not just the 1970's.
