I need to I.D. a Colt series 70 pistol. It is .45 caliber, duo tone, engraved at the factory, ISPC, 1 of 500, came from the factory with metal case and belt buckle, adjustible sights, beavertail grip safety, left and right hand thumb safety. Haven't been able to find out any info on this pistol or seen any others for sale through various web sites. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. You can call Colt (1 800 962 Colt) with the serial number and get some information from their customer service.
The blue book of gun values could help. Larry Starling (a member here) has a updated copy.

Smutt, Can you post some pictures? I do know that Colt made a limited run of IPSC commemorative guns for I believe Lew Horton. I also have one of them but without pictures it is hard to tell which version you have.

Don't own but am thinking of purchasing #114 & 115, do you have a picture of yours on this site? These are unfired and look it. What would be a reasonable purchase price for the pair based on my description?
