OK. Here is the info. Mine seems correct except for the proper grips and the 10 mm barrel is a barsto, because the original barrel was missing when I bought the gun. The blue has more shine than the photos show.

Slick! commander hammer, beavertail.... I like it!
Do you have the original .40 barrel although you don't have the 10mm?
Seems like a keeper to me!!! ...only 411

Man that is a nice one! The letter only adds value. Great job on those pictures, that is a Colt to be proud of.
I imagine you could get a factory Colt 10mm barrel in case you were interested.

Elijub - yes it has the original .40 barrel.
Hunter - thanks. The only scratches on the gun are the ones near the slide stop. I am not a true collector and I like to shoot .45 ACP, so I will probably sell the gun. I'll let the next owner get an original barrel and look for the original style grips. Anyone want to give a value estimate?

That really is a sweet pistolay! I can't imagine you'll have a hard time gettin' rid of it. Put it up on the forum....

d90king, I grew up in Williamsport...lived in State College (for the logical reason), and then with my lady-friend down in Ardmore/Lower Darby (i think it was called...long time ago). Small world!
