I think a starting point would be to take several photos of the outside and inside and post them on this and other forums with that question.

John,good morning it's 5:17 am here in IL.thanks to coolgunsite.com,I know the slide isn't 1917 made.the finish and the color of the pistol are the same slide and rec.It's been togeather a longtime,but not what i thought i was buying.the mag has a "R" on the lip which i found out stands for rosdon.the slide has an "H" in front of the trigger.Turn it upside down and their is a "G" on the firenpin housing.the barrel has a "P"and "HS" on the link.iwasn't going to fire it but now i guess iwill take it out and see what it shoots like. take care.
