I am sure this has been discussed before, but how do you remove the ejector from the frame. It is glued on and I am not sure what to do with it.

Thanks!

You could try heating it either with a hair dryer or a clean soldering iron. Gently pull straight from the frame ("rocking" it back and forth could break a leg off in the frame, then you have problems). Good luck.

You will need heat, but a hair dryer won't do it; you will likely have to use a small propane torch. Do not heat the ejector itself, rather move the heat over the part of the frame where the legs fit down in. Don't over heat. The idea is to loosen the "glue", and expand the holes to free the ejector. The smaller the tip on the torch the better. Pin point!

So, it sounds like epoxy to me. Anyone know?

Thanks!

I cannot tell what color it is other than it looks like glue and it is dirty. Even when clean it has just looks dark.
