well...not to sound too negative, but I think Sig should figure out how to make a full size 1911 run before attempting to market an officer sized....the little guns tend to be more finicky and less forgiving than the 5", and Sig hasn't gotten the bugs out of the 5" yet.
(sorry, but I calls 'em like I sees 'em) :dead_hors

If you want a short barreled .45 that will work out of box and keep working, get a Kimber Ultra. I've yet to own a short barrelled anything else work reliably right out of the box.
I do own a Revolution Compact C3 (Officer Height and Commander length) that works well after a trip to Sig for a ramp polish (My gunsmith had to figure out the guide rod head was making it's own bevel in the frame because Sig didn't). My rear sight had to be adjusted because it was shooting 3" right at 7 yards. It's not what I expected from Sig, but they let their New Hampshire people make it, so it's not the Sig anybody would expect. IT DOES SHOOT WELL AFTER THE WORK AND I EXPECT IT TO FOR MANY YEARS.
