To all the "Old timers" Thanks for the valued info (and patience).

To the "Senior Members", thanks for keeping the "old timers" in line

To the other members of this forum, I appreciate the interest in keeping the shooting sports active.
(Hey, someone had to start a "Thumbs up" thread

Greetings,

A great idea, Stumbler. I'd like to give a thumbs up, and a big thanks to all members here. This is, hands down, the best of the best as far as 1911 forums are concerned. We don't have the membership of other 1911 forums, and I believe that's a good thing. The members we do have are fantastic, knowledgable, helpful, and RESPECTFUL most of all. We definitely a higher caliber of people than other forums. Another thanks to the moderator team, and to John for all the hard work, time, energy, and money that goes into this forum.

More specifically, a personal thanks to 1911Tuner, who is also an incredible person who I feel we're fortunate to have around here.

I can't say enough of our membership, so I'll stop trying.

Best to you all.

I joined this forum a few months ago because of all the information and knowleedge being passed around. All the members, seniors, old timers and juniors are all extremely nice and willing to help everyone else with any questions they might have.

Personally I've learned more about my 1911 than I expected, and can't say enough about the people on this forum

Greetings,
I'm surprised John hasn't made a comment. I just noticed this thread was in the flea-market subforum, which would make it a "thumbs up" thread for GOOD purchases, to report positive experiences with sales/purchases with other members, not a general "pat on the back," so to speak.

Oh well! :)

That's because John has read this (1st of March), but didn't notice where it was posted. Now, it will be moved, to the proper forum.

A pat in the back is welcome, but please do not use this forum for anything else but evaluations of companies, persons etc, when refering to a commercial transaction.

Tnx folks (and I appreciate the thumbs up).
